EV (2W) Sales: 12th July Update

We now have VAHAN Data till 12th July. The overall sales so far this month are a bit sluggish compared to June. But there have been some changes in the positions of the Top-5 players. Over the last few days, Bajaj Auto has grabbed the No.1 position from TVS Motor & already has a 6% gap between them. A week ago, TVS Motor had a 5% lead over Bajaj Auto. It is more a case of TVS Motors' numbers climbing down. Maybe there are not able to produce enough units.

Ather Energy continues to hold on to the No.3 spot, ahead of OLA Electric. A week ago, Ather had a 9% lead over OLA, which is now down to 6%, with OLA's sales this week almost matching Ather's figures. Let's see if OLA is able to take back it's No.3 spot by the end of this month.

Within a few days of it's new model launch & some fresh marketing campaigns, Hero MotoCorp is seeing some uptick in it's sales. It is currently a distant No.5 player in this space, but considering the huge manufacturing might & wide reach it has, it can become a challenger to higher positions very quickly, if demand for it's new model picks up well.
